“The festival itself is free and open to the public. This is all a fundraiser for Glynn Visual Arts as we are the largest non-profit art association in our area. We have members, but we are constantly trying to raise money, and this is one of our opportunities to do that along with bringing art to the community. Ryles said that the festival will have a wide variety of artists there this year and that it’s a true art festival. Under the Oaks Art Festival offers a colorful array of vibrant artworks and crafts on the grounds of the postcard-perfect setting of the Whalehead in Historic Corolla. This popular festival brings together a collection of talented artists and visitors can expect to find paintings and prints, photography, pottery, jewelry, woodworks, and much more. Free for all attendees, local food concessions are available as well as a silent art auction that is open to the public. This is a great opportunity to pick up some local treasures that are truly one-of-a-kind. Under the Oaks Arts Festival offers a colorful array of vibrant artworks and crafts on the grounds of the postcard-perfect setting of the Whalehead in Historic Corolla. Arts Under the Oaks mainstage events will be livestreamed and may include glimpses of the sideshow events.

Two more Thursdays to be part of the Organ and Poetry series at Community Church. Shoppers at Vero Beach Outlets during the recent holiday system were treated to something different in window dressing. Thanks to a strong relationship with Riverside Theatre, shop windows were alive with displays for The Nutcracker and A Charlie Brown Christmas. The relationship began in 2018 with sponsorship of the annual Festival of Trees. The show’s entries hang in the museum’s second floor gallery, ranging from paintings to baskets to blankets to sculptures.

Tickets are available for the in-person event at full and half-day costs. In-Person tickets for the general public are $50 all-day and $25 half-day . In-person tickets for College of Charleston faculty, staff, and students are $20 all-day and $10 half-day. This April, Glynn Visual Arts celebrates hosting it’s 51st year of art festivals. True to tradition, this is an open and free event to the community and artists will hail from around the region representing a wide range of mediums. The Stono Preserve is a place where the landscape is the result of America’s settler-colonial history.
